on another note, i think that Michael may have been more emotionally affected by what happened to him than I thought. He hasnt been sleeping, and he calls me at 4 am, and wants to talk, but then gets really shut down and hangs up on me. I havent been sleeping either. Im worried about him now. really worried.

That's a staggering-sounding class load, and I'm glad you survived!

Did you two go to the police and report the incident? They may be able to advise you, trauma counseling, things like that. If your friend starts staying home more often and changing in other ways, try to get him to talk with a professional.

yeah, we called the police, but the options are really slim. he already sees a therapist, so there isnt much more we can do. i have considered getting in contact with his therapist, but i dont want to go over his head like that. i dont think it will help.
